History
The founding of Alma It Systems
Alma IT Systems was born from years of work and research in collaboration with Universitat Politécnica of Catalunya, which now joins the support of other top European research centers.
The company was established in June 2005 in the city of Barcelona with the aim of investigating, creating, developing, commercializing and selling software products for all types of medical applications. Its founding members are Dr. Javier Herrero Jover, Jacobo Gil de Biedma and Jordi Lopez Álvarez.
Objectives for the future
ALMA IT SYSTEMS is currently developing new diagnostics products and surgical planning, such as vascular segmentation, in order to specify more accurate diagnoses.
Our future goal is to develop specific tools for each medical field, allowing surgical planning in real time.
