ALMA IT Systems has recently signed an OEM partnership with Italian PACS/RIS developer M.I. Medical.   Based in Caserta, MI Medical is a leading supplier of PACS/RIS solutions in Italy and has chosen the Alma platform to integrate a new series of specialised workstations natively integrated in their RIS/PACS solution X-WEB. This new platform will be named X-DRAW and complete their advanced web solution with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools.

The first project to come out of this new alliance is to supply complete diagnostic workstations for 12 hospitals in the Soresa project in Regione Campania, a tender that was won by MI Medical in 2010. 

Installation has begun in early 2011 and is planned to be completed by May of the same year.
