Cardiovascular surgery. System for the analysis of cardiac function from medical images (CT, US, MRI). Detection of cardiac pathologies and resynchronization therapy planning, via the construction of a virtual model of the anatomy and function of the patient’s heart, and the simulation of the intervention. Another direction investigated by the CDTEAM project is the detection of cerebral aneurysms and their blood flow simulation, for the evaluation of rupture risk.
